ABOUT ENERGY-MAD

Energy-Mad has started following a rapid rise in Popularity for various extreme athletic disciplines.

Seemingly out of nowhere, more and more people started running marathons, participating in triathlons and hiking the most difficult mountain terrains.

Although the trend is positive, the knowledge most people have about the lifestyles they should follow to get the most benefit out of the whole ordeal is rather insufficient, if there even is any.

That is why Energy-Mad was born as a collaborative effort between people who were in the fitness-crazy trend even before it was trendy, and actual fitness professionals who know how such rigorous exercises can affect one’s body and mind.

Our aim here is to bring the attention of already energy-mad runners, swimmers and cyclists towards the most crucial issues they should focus on, while also attracting those that are still contemplating about turning their life into a fitness-crazy adventure.

WE RECOGNISE
While we recognise that the trend of adopting an energy-mad lifestyle is extremely beneficial to the overall health around the globe, it’s also risky for people to step into it without any guidelines or prior considerations. Not only can they damage their own health, their failures could discourage other people from going out of the house and moving even a little.

TRUTH IS
Truth is, in New Zealand, nearly 40% of adults are overweight, while almost half of them are obese. Helping them is a different vocation entirely. However, we can surely influence the weight gain trend to go down with a counter-trend of Energy-Mad lifestyle, which is already accelerating rapidly among Kiwis.
